Four Steps to building a positive company culture:
1. Identify company Values (what really drives your business, your purpose, why you do what you do) i.e. excellent customer service
2. Link Values to specific Desired Behaviours (how will people behave in alignment to these values?) i.e. polite, professional, always ask how else can I help; for internal and external customers
3. Recruit against these values and desired behaviours (build a competency behaviour framework that is the basis of all your recruitment (job descriptions, interview questions etc) at every level of the org, as well as all of your development and performance reviews)
4. Ensure your leaders are role-modelling the new Company Culture (do the managers / leaders need additional development to help them be more engaging to motivate their teams?)
